Abstract

This study provides an analysis and evaluation of the extent to which SANIAK Company in Ain Elkebira applies and documents its Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with the requirements of the latest international environmental management standard (ISO 14004:2004). The aim is to determine the company’s contribution to mitigating environmental pollution through continuous improvement in pursuit of sustainable environmental development. The study concludes that there is no significant gap between the environmental system implemented at the company under investigation and the requirements of the guiding standard for Environmental Management Systems.
