Abstract

The Islamic World witnessed Several Epidemics and Plagues, Documented by Numerous Scholars in their Writings and Heritage. Ibn Abi Hajlah Al-Tilimsani (D. 776 AH/1375 CE) wrote his Book, “Repelling the Calamity by Praying for the Prophet of Mercy - Daf' Al-Niqmah Fi Al-Salaat 'ala Nabi Al-Rahmah”, about the Role of Prophetic Medicine in Eradicating this Epidemic that Egypt witnessed. He subsequently Died from it. This Book reflected his Experience and Observations of what he had witnessed and heard about the Plague, its Concept, Causes, Symptoms, and Treatment.
