Abstract

This study reveals the significant and leading role of the family in the proper socialisation of individuals, particularly women. Fulfilling its educational, developmental and guiding roles is crucial for the family to protect women from deviance and crime, enabling them to become positive and upright individuals who can face challenges and achieve their aspirations. The family is essential in building a strong, cohesive, sophisticated and prosperous society.
