Applications of artificial intelligence and electronic implants in the field of hearing disability

Our study revealed the reality of applying artificial intelligence and electronic implants in the world of the deaf child, by analyzing how these technologies are employed in the early detection of hearing disability, improving the quality of auditory rehabilitation, and enhancing the cognitive abilities of children who suffer from hearing loss or deafness. In this research, we relied on the descriptive method due to its suitability for examining the phenomenon as it exists in reality and for achieving an accurate scientific description of specialists’ experiences with this modern technology. The study was conducted during the period extending through December 2025, during which a rigorously designed scientific questionnaire was developed and distributed to a purposive sample of specialists, with the aim of gathering multidisciplinary professional opinions on the effectiveness of artificial intelligence and electronic implants in the field of hearing disability. The sample consisted of: 9 ENT specialists, 5 speech therapists, 8 experts in ear surgery and auditory implant procedures, 5 education specialists, and 3 audiology specialists.
