Abstract

This research paper explores a modern management approach to developing human resources and improving their efficiency, namely on-the-job training. It aims to determine its importance and role in enhancing employee performance within organizations, whether public or private, economic or public-oriented. We conducted a theoretical study and relied on previous research to gather the scientific material. The results concluded that on-the-job training is of utmost importance in improving the individual performance of employees, which positively impacts the overall performance of the organization's functions, enabling it to keep pace with developments in the knowledge and technical fields and achieve a competitive advantage.
